Barasinghas are arduous floor but unique species which are identified to populate the lush open tracts of grass on the Bamboo and Teak forests. Round 20 years ago, barasingha was dealing with extinction but the authorities took some vital measures to protect them by fencing them off. In the course of the winter months, the lush open meadows are teeming with these animals and it has loads of tiger activities throughout the fringes. One can easily spot the female with two small cubs not less than two or three times of the day in addition to swamp deer with alarm calls by the jungle. It is really the adaptation of Disney from the Jungle Book.
